We enter into the throneroom by the Blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ, lavishing on the Lord our love and appreciation for who He is, and what He's done, bringing our most intimate requests and sorrows to Him.
We bring our requests before Him on behalf of those we love, we search His Word, we hear His heart on these issues, we agree with Him, and we stand and fight against the oppressor, knowing that we are hidden in Christ, and He is going before us.
Without those who have dedicated themselves to sharing with Jesus the intimate details, warring in the heavenlies on behalf of those who need someone to stand with them, where would we be?
I give praise and thanksgiving to God for all you blessed lovers of God who have stood with me over the years, even when you didn't want to, to see me grow up to be the person of God i was created to be.
You know who you are!
Thank you for trusting God, His finished work at the cross, and believing Him for me, even when, to all surface appearances, it looked like all hope was lost. Thanks for caring, and loving God enough to press in and continue to love me, even when you didn't like me!
I also thank those, in the generations before us, who considered the children and the grandchildren to come, and prayed 'God's will be done' over them.
Those who longed to see the revelation of the answers to their prayers, but never did see them, are sitting in that great cloud of witnesses, watching the events of this generation unfold, and praising their wonderful Saviour and Friend, who is orchestrating the Masterpiece.
There are many wonderful prayer ministry sites, each with its own flavour and texture, its own service community. Make sure to do some online searches and find some good prayer ministry sites ...they are certainly helpful when all your friends are busy!
